Forklift Operator

Job description:

We are seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team.

**Must have minimum 2 years’ experience operating Counterbalance forklift**

**Additionally, minimum 2 years experience operating Raymond Reach forklift would be an asset**

**Professional references required**

Shift time: 7AM-330PM

Requirements:

• Valid forklift operator certification/license.

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating forklifts; must have a valid external counterbalance license.

• General labor experience with the ability to lift heavy weights safely.

• Knowledge and experience using mechanical equipment, including pump trucks and pallet jacks.

• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts, counterbalance throughout the warehouse.

• Load and unload goods from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

• Pre and post inspection of forklift.

• Staging raw product on production floor for the purpose of emptying bins and totes onto the production line.

• Verify accuracy of purchase order numbers in accordance with the production schedule.

• Perform house-keeping duties and maintain cleanliness of work area.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to promote a safe working environment.
