We are seeking experienced sandblasters to join our client's team in the Hyde Park, MA areas.

Their blasting services are commonly used in industries such as manufacturing, construction, automotive, and restoration

Schedule: (6 days a week) 6am - 12pm or 12pm - 6pm

Pay Rate: $20/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Surface Prep & Blasting: Operates blast cabinets, portable units, or hoses to remove rust, scale, and old paint.
• Equipment Setup: Configures blasting machines, adjusts pressure, and selects proper abrasive media.
• Maintenance: Cleans and maintains nozzles, hoses, and cabinets; inspects equipment for safety.
• Safety Compliance: Wears protective gear (helmets, respirators, suits) and ensures proper ventilation.
• Quality Inspection: Checks finished surfaces for cleanliness and profile.

Requirements and Skills

• Physical Stamina: Ability to handle high-pressure hoses for long periods and work in dusty or confined spaces.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of blast media (e.g., slag, garnet, beads) and nozzle pressures.
• Safety Training: OSHA certifications (10/30 hour) are often required.
• Experience: Previous experience in industrial cleaning, painting, or manufacturing is preferred.
