We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Assembly Lead to oversee daily production operations and support a team of assemblers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality output, and strong team performance.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience, the ability to read blueprints, and a solid understanding of basic math, including fractions. Bilingual communication (English/Spanish) is highly preferred to effectively support and lead the team.

Responsibilities
•    Lead, support, and supervise a team of assemblers in daily production activities 
•    Coordinate workflow and job priorities with the Production Manager 
•    Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to properly set up and launch assembly jobs 
•    Perform hands-on assembly work as needed, including: Custom wire harnesses, Cable assemblies, Box builds for automotive and industrial control systems 
•    Train new employees on assembly processes, safety, and quality standards 
•    Monitor production progress and communicate any issues, delays, or material needs 
•    Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications 
•    Troubleshoot assembly challenges and provide guidance to team members 
•    Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment 

Qualifications
•    Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred 
•    Willing to submit to drug and background screening
•    Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment required 
•    Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings 
•    Strong basic math skills, including fractions and measurements 
•    Experience with wire harnesses, cable assemblies, or similar electrical/mechanical assembly preferred 
•    Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills 
•    Ability to work both independently and as part of a team 
•    Ability to stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods 
•    Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed 
•    Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
