Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Car Wash Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations of 7 self-service car wash locations throughout the Fort Myers area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting equipment, and working independently in the field.

You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing car wash systems to ensure each location remains fully operational, safe, and clean for customers. A company vehicle is provided for travel between sites.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on self-service car wash equipment including pumps, motors, vacuums, coin systems, hoses, dryers, and control panels
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to quickly identify and resolve equipment malfunctions
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
• Repair or replace defective parts such as valves, switches, belts, and sensors
• Maintain proper chemical levels and ensure systems are dispensing correctly
• Inspect facilities for safety hazards and ensure compliance with operational standards
• Keep equipment rooms, bays, and surrounding areas clean and organized
• Respond to emergency service calls and urgent repair needs as required
• Track and document all maintenance work, service calls, and parts usage
• Manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies in company vehicle
• Assist with basic facility upkeep such as minor plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
• Communicate effectively with management regarding recurring issues and improvement opportunities

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience in maintenance, mechanical repair, or facilities maintenance required
• Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical and basic electrical systems
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple locations
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR required)
• Flexible schedule and availability for occasional emergency or after-hours calls
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, or hydraulic systems is a plus
• Prior car wash or similar equipment experience is a plus but not required
