Job Title: Warehouse Worker – Construction Supply Store

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our construction supply team. This position is responsible for receiving, organizing, loading, and distributing building materials and supplies while maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming construction materials and supplies

• Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for customer pickup or delivery

• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently

• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks

• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock counts

• Keep warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations

• Assist customers with loading materials when required

• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous warehouse or construction supply experience is an asset

• Ability to lift heavy materials (50–100 lbs) repeatedly

• Basic knowledge of construction materials (lumber, drywall, concrete, tools, etc.)

• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Frequent lifting, bending, standing, and walking

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Comfortable handling heavy building materials
