Dock Worker/Box Truck Driver – Tualatin, OR

About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Dock Worker to join our client's logistics team in Tualatin. This role involves hands-on material handling, moving freight, and ensuring shipments are properly prepared for transport. This person will also support deliveries when needed, operating a 24 foot boc truck. If you enjoy physical work, teamwork, and keeping operations running smoothly, this could be a great fit.

Schedule:

Fri-Sun 5 AM-5:30 PM

Pay: $20/hr. to start

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming freight using a manual pallet jack
• Move freight to designated areas and consolidate loads
• Wrap pallets securely using a banding machine before loading onto trucks
• Handle and load large crate equipment
• Drive a 24-foot box truck to support deliveries as needed.
• Read and understand paperwork to verify product information
• Maintain a clean and organized facility; during downtime, enjoy a relaxed team environment in the office area
• Support overall warehouse operations with attention to detail and safety

Physical Requirements

• Frequent walking, pushing, and pulling freight weighing 200–500 lbs
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with manual pallet jack operation (forklift and electric pallet jack certification available after 4–8 weeks of training)

Qualifications

• Reliable, self-starter with strong communication skills
• Team player who is friendly and gets along well with others
• Attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
• Experience with material handling and pallet jacks preferred, but not required
• Must have a valid driver's license with 3-5 years of no tickets or accidents.
• Background and drug screen REQUIRED!
