Temporary General Labor

Salary: $20/hr

Express Employment Professionals is looking for General Labors/Bin Inductors to assist in a week-long project at a manufacturing facility in Amherst, NY. 

 

Dates: Monday 4/27 through Friday 5/1

Shift: 7:00AM - 5:00PM (overtime required)

Payrate: $20/hr

 

 

Job duties/Responsibilities:

• Operators need to de-stack the bins from the pallets.
• As operator de-stack there will be plastic bin dividers that need to be knocked off if they don’t fall off on their own.
• Operators will clean up the floor as needed to ensure a safe working environment.
• Every bin will be tested by operators to make sure they comply with requirements. (This test uses a manual gauge that makes sure the size of the bin is adequate.)
• After a bin is tested by the operator, the operator needs to place this in the “induction port” of the Automated Warehouse System.
• Shift will be finalized when all bins for the day have been inducted into the Automated Warehouse System.

 

Position Qualification/Requirements

• Must be prepared to observe and practice all safety and security requirements.
• Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively during allotted work hours and workdays.
• Must be able to work in warehouse environment conditions – slightly high temperature, enclosed work area, need to always observe safety requirements.
• Must be able to endure long hours, standing up and being quick on their feet.
• Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
