Monday through Friday – 8am to 5pm

A full service contract cosmetics manufacturer of premier loose or pressed powder, specializing in Color Cosmetics and Personal Care Products is seeking an Accounting Clerk/HR to join their team in Chatsworth.

Summary: The Accounting Clerk/HR will be responsible for handling day-to-day financial transactions, supporting payroll and reporting functions, and assisting with key HR processes including employee records and onboarding/offboarding. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities with accuracy and discretion.

Responsibilities:

Accounting Duties:

  • Reconcile bank activity and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Process payments, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Create and send invoices to customers in a timely manner.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments, including requesting payments and deposits.
  • Prepare and file sales & use tax and property tax with the state.
  • Assist in generating financial reports and summaries.

Human Resources Duties:

  • Process payroll and ensure accurate and timely compensation.
  • Receive and track employee absence forms.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including hirings and terminations.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or HR support preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
