Now Hiring: CNC Press Brake Operator (AMADA Experience Preferred)

Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator on behalf of a reputable manufacturing client. This is a great opportunity to join a stable company specializing in sheet metal fabrication and precision components.

We are looking for candidates who can confidently set up, program, and operate CNC press brake machines, with a strong understanding of blueprints, tooling, and bend sequencing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC press brake machines (AMADA preferred)
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders
  • Select and install proper tooling (punches and dies)
  • Program and adjust CNC controls (AMNC / AB Pad preferred)
  • Determine bend sequence and calculate bend allowances/deductions
  • Perform first-piece inspections to verify quality and accuracy
  • Monitor production and make necessary machine adjustments
  • Troubleshoot setup and production issues independently
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of CNC Press Brake or Brake Press Operator experience
  • Ability to perform full manual setup and operation independently
  • Strong blueprint reading and measuring skills
  • Experience with CNC programming and controls
  • Knowledge of calibrating CNC Machinery
  • Experience using calipers, angle gauges, and tape measures
  • Strong attention to detail

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with AMADA press brakes (RG, FBD, HFE, HRB models)
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices
  • Forklift or overhead crane experience

Pay & Schedule

  • $25–$35/hour (based on experience)
  • 1st Shift: 5:00 AM / 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM / 4:30 PM (Monday–Friday)
  • Overtime available, including Saturdays
