Child Care Teacher

Full time, $19-$21

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, a nurturing demeanor, and the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children.

Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development:

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lessons.
• Design and execute a creative and stimulating curriculum that promotes learning through play.

Classroom Management:

• Establish and maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages social and emotional development.

Child Assessment:

• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor each child's progress.
• Provide feedback to parents and caregivers regarding their child's development.

Parent Communication:

• Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians.
• Conduct parent-teacher conferences and participate in school-wide events. Individualized Attention:
• Recognize and address the unique needs and learning styles of each child.
• Implement strategies to support children with diverse abilities and backgrounds. Collaboration with Team:
• Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.

Health and Safety:

• Ensure the well-being and safety of all children in the classroom.
• Implement health and safety procedures, including emergency protocols.

Professional Development:

• Stay informed about current trends and best practices in early childhood education.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities.
