Automation Controls Technician- Darlington

Located in Platteville, WI

Salary: $70,000

Express Employment in Platteville has partnered with a local business to search for a candidate to support their business in an AUTOMATION CONTROLS TECHNICIAN (2nd Shift). Full-time, on-site position.

Summary:
Troubleshoots and supports automation, electrical, and control systems to keep equipment running.

Duties:
• Troubleshoot PLC/HMI systems
• Fix electrical and control issues
• Support maintenance team
• Read schematics and drawings
• Do basic preventive maintenance
• Document work done

Requirements:
• Technical training or experience
• PLC/electrical experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Able to work independently or with a team

Physical:
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Stand/walk for long periods
• Industrial work environment
