Job Title: Press Brake Machine Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Machine Operator to set up and operate press brake equipment to bend, form, and shape metal components according to specifications. This role is essential to producing high-quality parts while maintaining efficiency and safety in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
• Select proper tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job
• Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
• Adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment
• Maintain production schedules and meet daily output goals
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred
• Previous experience operating a press brake or similar CNC machinery
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Experience using precision measuring tools
• Basic math skills, including measurements and angles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materials
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

• Full-time position; overtime may be required based on production needs
