MIG Welder - 2nd shift

Position Summary:
The MIG Welder plays a key role in fabricating and assembling conveyor components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position involves hands-on welding, blueprint reading, repetitive lifting, and maintaining high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble and fabricate drag conveyor parts using various tools and equipment
• Perform MIG welding using .045 wire spray
• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, and engineering specifications
• Weld carbon steel, abrasion-resistant steel, and stainless steel
• Operate hand tools such as grinders and drills
• Use measuring tools including calipers, weld gauges, and tape measures
• Perform preventative maintenance on welding machines and monitor performance
• Set up weldments and fixturing to meet geometric requirements
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet standards
• Rework or repair welded parts based on engineering specification changes
• Communicate effectively with management to prioritize workflow
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Perform repetitive tasks and regularly lift 30–50 lbs

Qualifications:
• MIG welding experience (1+ year preferred)
• Manual labor experience (1+ year required)
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

Hours:
• Monday – Friday
• 2nd Shift: 3:30pm – 11:50pm
• Optional overtime available on Saturdays and Sundays

Pay:
• $25.25/hour
