Job Title: Industrial Painter

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Industrial Painter to prepare and apply coatings to a variety of surfaces and equipment in a manufacturing or industrial setting. This role plays a key part in protecting materials from corrosion, wear, and environmental exposure while ensuring a high-quality finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, blasting, and masking as needed
• Mix and apply paints, coatings, and finishes using spray guns, rollers, or brushes
• Operate and maintain painting equipment, including spray systems and compressors
• Inspect finished surfaces to ensure quality standards and proper coating thickness
• Follow work orders, blueprints, and specifications for proper application techniques
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment
• Adhere to all safety procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and use of PPE
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet deadlines

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in industrial painting, automotive painting, or a related field
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and coating applications
• Familiarity with spray painting equipment and tools
• Ability to read and interpret basic work instructions and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in environments with fumes, noise, and varying temperatures (with proper PPE)
• Ability to wear respirators and other protective equipment as required

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time position; overtime may be required based on production needs
• Industrial/manufacturing environment with a focus on safety and efficiency
