Filtration Operator- Darlington

Located in Platteville, WI

Salary: $18-$20

Express Employment in Platteville has partnered with a local business to search for a candidate to support their business in a FILTRATION OPERATOR role. This is a full-time position working 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm or 6pm-6am).

Summary:
Operates and maintains filtration systems (UF, MF, RO) to ensure safe, efficient production and high product quality.

Duties:

• Run, monitor, and adjust filtration systems
• Start up, shut down, clean (CIP), and sanitize equipment
• Check pressures, flow rates, temperatures, and product quality
• Collect samples and complete production records
• Perform basic maintenance and report issues
• Follow safety, sanitation, and food quality standards
• Keep work area clean and organized

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED (technical training preferred)
• Food/dairy processing experience a plus
• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Able to follow instructions and work independently or on a team
• Flexible schedule (weekends/overtime)

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Stand/walk for long periods (up to 12 hours)
• Bend, reach, climb, and work in wet/hot conditions
