Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a well-established, global leader in home décor, textiles, and design to hire an HR Generalist for their warehouse operations in Midway, GA. Position Summary

The HR Generalist will support daily human resources functions within a high-volume warehouse setting. This role focuses on recruiting, employee relations, performance management, and ensuring a safe, compliant, and productive workplace. You’ll also play a key role in supporting OSHA initiatives and overall HR compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for HR-related questions and employee support
  • Provide guidance to supervisors on performance management, coaching, and disciplinary actions
  • Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and consistency
  • Manage recruiting efforts for warehouse roles from start to finish
  • Coordinate temporary staffing needs, including timecard and invoice reconciliation
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Oversee employee records and HR documentation
  • Support performance review processes and development plans
  • Facilitate onboarding and new hire orientation
  • Review and approve bi-weekly timecards for payroll processing
  • Partner with leadership to improve morale, productivity, and retention

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of HR experience (warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office

Work Environment

This position will operate in a combination of office and warehouse settings.
