We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Deck Building Assistant to join a busy construction team specializing in custom outdoor living spaces. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and wants to grow their skills in the construction field.

 

What You’ll Do

- Assist with building custom decks and outdoor structures

- Measure, cut, and install materials under supervision

- Support framing, decking, and railing installation

- Load/unload materials and maintain organized job sites

- Follow safety guidelines and work efficiently with the crew

 

What We’re Looking For

- Previous construction or carpentry experience required

- Ability to use basic hand and power tools

- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various conditions

- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

- Must have your own basic tools OR be able to obtain them within the first week of employment

 

Preferred (Not Required)

- Deck building or framing experience

- Experience with composite decking materials
