Location: Kirkland, IL

Shift Type: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 5 AM - 2:30 PM

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable individual to join our team as a General Laborer. The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently load trucks with company products including doors, trim, custom orders, and hardware. The ideal candidate will have strong physical stamina, the ability to complete heavy lifting, and work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
Loading and Unloading:

• Load trucks with doors, trim, custom orders, and hardware.
• Safely lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Perform 2-person lifts for items weighing between 80-100 lbs

Material Handling:

• Ensure all items are properly secured and loaded to prevent damage during transit.
• Verify accuracy and quality of items being loaded.

Maintenance and Cleaning:

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Perform cleaning tasks as needed to ensure safety and efficiency.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs (unassisted)
• Ability to lift and carry 80-100 lbs (assisted)
• Ability to walk, stand, and bend for entire shift
