Maintenance Technician (Seasonal – Dorm Repairs)

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Maintenance Technicians to assist with dorm room repairs during our summer turnaround period. This role is essential to ensuring all rooms are fully prepared for student move-in.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair work in dorm rooms
• Replace and repair items such as towel racks, toilet paper holders, floor tiles, window blinds, smoke detectors, mirrors, door hinges, knobs, and more
• Complete minor plumbing and basic electrical repairs
• Use hand tools to complete daily tasks efficiently
• Ensure all assigned rooms are completed on schedule
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements

• Previous maintenance or repair experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical work
• Must have your own hand tools
• Ability to work on a tight schedule and meet deadlines
• Dependable transportation and strong punctuality
• Ability to pass a background check and remain drug-free
• Physically able to lift, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Duration: May through mid-August
• No time off permitted during the first 3 weeks
• Pay: $17/hour
