Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Staff Accountant for a growing manufacturing operation in the Flathead Valley.

Position: Staff Accountant

Schedule: Full‑time
Location: Flathead Valley

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain accurate accounting records across multiple entities
  • Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoicing and collections follow‑up
  • Review Accounts Payable transactions for accuracy and completeness
  • Provide backup support for AP processing when needed
  • Prepare and post journal entries, including credit card activity
  • Participate in plant meetings and track production builds for financial alignment
  • Communicate regularly with the Controller regarding plant operations and financial impact
  • Ensure all documentation and uploads are properly attached to sales orders
  • Update and maintain cash flow reporting related to AR activity
  • Assist with monthly reconciliations, quarter‑end close, and supporting schedules
  • Support annual audit activities
  • Perform additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed

What You Bring

  • Strong understanding of AR, AP, and general accounting principles
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proactive communication style and ability to work cross‑functionally
  • Ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads and shifting priorities
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
  • Ability to collaborate with operations and plant personnel
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred (experience considered in lieu of degree)
