About the Opportunity

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a hands-on Onsite Workforce Coordinator / Working Lead to support one of our high-volume warehouse clients with approximately 75+ associates onsite.

This is a working lead role — you will be responsible for overseeing workforce operations while also supporting warehouse functions during downtime. This position is ideal for someone who leads by example and thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between Express and the client onsite
  • Manage daily attendance, call-offs, and headcount reporting
  • Conduct floor walks and associate check-ins throughout the shift
  • Address performance, attendance, and behavioral concerns in real time
  • Ensure accurate timekeeping and payroll approvals
  • Partner with the recruiting team to fill urgent staffing needs
  • Build strong relationships with both associates and client leadership
  • Provide daily and weekly reporting on workforce performance
  • Step into warehouse operations as needed (loading/unloading, material handling, etc.) when not actively handling lead responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in staffing, warehouse leadership, or lead/crew supervisor role
  • Willingness to be a hands-on working lead — not just supervision
  • Strong communication and people management skills
  • Ability to hold associates accountable while maintaining professionalism
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment (standing/walking/lifting as needed)
  • Ability to adapt quickly and solve problems on the spot
