What You Will Be Doing:

• Operate excavators in a heavy industrial / steel mill environment
• Handle and move scrap metal, slag, and bulk materials
• Load trucks and feed processing equipment efficiently
• Work safely around heavy machinery and industrial equipment
• Complete daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance checks
• Follow all site safety procedures, lockout protocols, and PPE requirements
• Maintain productivity while working in a fast-paced industrial setting
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and site personnel

What We Are Looking For:

• Minimum 2+ years of excavator operating experience
• Experience in heavy industrial, construction, steel, or scrap processing environments
• Steel mill experience is considered a strong asset
• Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety standards
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Reliable transportation to and from the Hamilton site
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, afternoons, nights, or weekends as required
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety
