MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN-Rapidly expanding Easton Manufacturing company has an immediate temp-to-hire opening for a Maintenance Technician. Our client is offering stability, room to advance your career, and guaranteed pay increases due to their business growth!

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the expectations of each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required.
• High school diploma/GED required
• Apprenticeship or education and maintenance experience equivalency required
• 5 years of manufacturing experience, with work experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and industrial maintenance
• Must be a good communicator and a team player
• Job Duties & Requirement (included but not limited to the following):
• Installation and preventative maintenance of production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service and during off-hours when needed.
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
• Perform technical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines. Basic carpentry and construction.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
• Inspect equipment and other operations factors to predict issues and malfunctions
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities as directed by the supervisor.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment, in performing duties.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, and schedules as needed by operations.
• Breaks to be taken at specific times as assigned by supervisor.
• Radios must be worn during the entire shift and kept on channel 2.
• Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance supervisor.
