Job Title: Sales Order Support & Accounting Clerk
Location: Simi Valley, CA
Pay Rate: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

 

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Sales Order Support & Accounting Clerk to join our client’s team. This position will primarily support the Sales department by reviewing and processing sales orders for accuracy, while also providing backup support to the Finance team with basic accounting functions.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally and has strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and process sales orders to ensure accuracy (pricing, quantities, and order details)
  • Support the Sales team by validating order information within Salesforce
  • Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks
  • Monitor AR aging reports and follow up as needed
  • Provide general accounting support and assist with financial recordkeeping
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order and billing processes

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales support, order processing, or administrative roles
  • Basic accounting knowledge, including AP/AR experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
  • Experience with Salesforce (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
