Express Employment is recruiting a Payroll & Benefits Specialist for a local company in Lewiston.

In this role as a Payroll & Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:

• Maintain payroll data by ensuring hours worked are recorded properly for payroll processing.
• Processes payroll biweekly for over 300+ employees with HRIS software
• Oversee employment verification, unemployment audits and wage garnishments
• Administer day to day activities with group benefit programs
• Educate employees on benefit eligibility and benefits
• Administer new co-worker benefit orientation
• Administer FMLA, company leave policies and worker’s compensation claims
