Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker for a daylight shift position in the Latrobe, PA area. This role is with a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment and offers long-term potential with excellent benefits once hired on.

Shift & Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Willingness to work reasonable overtime as needed

Job Duties Include:

• Set up and operate manual machine tools including lathes, milling machines, and precision grinders
• Build, maintain, assemble, and troubleshoot powder compacting tooling made from carbide and steel
• Assemble various die sets for different pressing applications
• Identify worn components and refurbish tooling to maintain product quality
• Troubleshoot die issues in the powder compacting process and modify tooling as needed
• Interpret prints, sketches, engineering specifications, and work orders
• Collaborate with design engineers to optimize tooling and component designs
• Maintain high ethical and professional work standards

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Tool & Die making experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Basic shop math skills
• Experience with manual machines and precision grinders
• Ability to work full shifts and be dependable

Preferred Experience:

• Carbide machining experience
• Wire EDM programming, setup, and operation
