Admin & Contracts Specialist

 

Pay Rate: $28.00/hr

 

Position Overview

We are seeking an organized and professional Admin & Contracts Specialist to support our client's construction company. This role works closely with Project Managers to ensure they have all necessary paperwork. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.

 

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of administrative experience

  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; strong overall computer skills

  • Excellent communication, organization, punctuality, and reliability

  • Previous experience with construction contracts preferred 

  • Positive, professional demeanor 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for job subcontracts and purchase orders
  • Coordinate all required documentation needed for subcontractors and suppliers for all projects
  • Coordinate with project manager and estimating team on project change orders
  • Register and monitor filings for out of state subcontractors
  • Generate weekly certified payroll reports
  • Manage incoming telephone calls
  • Greet visitors
  • Assist with meeting preparations
  • Responsible for outgoing mail 
  • Order and maintain office supplies
