Salary: $21/hr
A precision manufacturing company in Schaumburg is looking for a skilled 2nd shift CNC Operator. We are seeking a reliable professional with 4-axis experience who can perform independent machine set-ups and troubleshoot alarms to manage the production process from start to finish.
Schedule:
2nd Shift: 3:00PM-11:00PM
3rd Shift: 11:00PM-7:00AM
Set up horizontal milling machines and install tool registers, offsets, and compensation
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to G-code programs
Troubleshoot CNC alarms and prepare tooling or fixturing for upcoming jobs
Follow documented work instructions to ensure all parts meet customer specifications
Observe all safety rules while standing for long periods of time during the shift
Strong experience working with 4-axis machines and FANUC controls
Proficiency in setting up machines with little to no assistance
Ability to perform simple programming tasks and program edits
A high school diploma or GED is required for this position
Between 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
Consistent 2nd shift schedule in a professional shop environment
