Production Associates (A0840)

Located in Mentor, OH

Salary: $20.00 Hour

Our client in Mentor, OH, has an immediate need for Production Associates.  

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the accurate set up, clean up, stacking of finished good, and accurate labeling of outgoing packages
• Stand Up Forklift Operating responsibilities required: unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stacking them to assigned places.  Locating and moving stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.  Identifying damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
• Storing, retrieving, mixing, and monitoring chemicals used in the production process
• Recording information and inputting the information into the database, such as ingredients, weights, and temperature
• Troubleshooting issues with production equipment and processes
• Observing all company, local, state, and federal safety and quality regulations
• Follow warehouse safety guidelines and report any accidents, safety violation, or other concerns
• Assisting in planning and improving processes and product quality
• Working with other team members to ensure timely completion of the production process
• Other duties as assigned

 Experience & Education:

• HS Diploma or GED Required
• Forklift Experience Required
• Understanding of chemical processes
• Aptitude for mechanics
• Basic computer skills
• Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
