Position Summary
We are seeking a customer-focused and knowledgeable Counter Sales Representative to support walk-in contractors, construction professionals, and industrial clients. This role is responsible for assisting customers with fasteners, tools, anchors, and related hardware products while providing exceptional service.
The ideal candidate has experience in construction supply, hardware, or industrial distribution and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities
. Assist walk-in customers with product selection including bolts, nuts, anchors, screws, washers, and specialty fasteners
Provide technical product knowledge and recommendations based on customer project needs
Process sales transactions accurately using POS system
Communicate effectively
Pull and stage orders for customer pickup
Answer phone inquiries and provide quotes
Maintain organized inventory and restock shelves as needed
Coordinate with warehouse team to fulfill larger contractor orders
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business

Qualifications
1+ year of counter sales, hardware, or industrial supply experience preferred
Knowledge of fasteners, anchors, or construction materials strongly preferred

Strong customer service and com
. Ability to read basic part numbers and product specifications
Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs
. Basic computer and POS system experience

Preferred Experience
. Experience working with contractors or construction professionals
. Industrial supply or building materials background
Inventory control or order entry experience

Work Environment
. Industrial supply store or warehouse showroom
