Our client in the Lakewood area is looking to hire an  Assistant Warehouse Manager

The Assistant Warehouse Manager supports the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, inventory management, and distribution of goods. This role helps maintain safety standards, optimize workflow, and supervise warehouse staff to meet productivity and accuracy goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products
• Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, including scheduling and performance monitoring
• Ensure accurate inventory control through regular audits and cycle counts
• Maintain proper documentation for shipments, deliveries, and stock levels
• Support implementation of warehouse policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
• Help optimize warehouse layout and processes for efficiency
• Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and other departments
• Assist in training new employees and ongoing staff development
• Handle and resolve operational issues or discrepancies
