Trusts and Estates Paralegal with Tax Experience

Located in Philadelphia, PA

Salary: $80,000-110,000

Express Employment Professionals is representing a well-established law firm in Haddonfield, NJ seeking a Trusts & Estates Paralegal to play a key role in a sophisticated estate and trust practice.

This position is ideal for candidates with a tax and accounting background (including CPA firm experience) who are looking to apply their expertise in a more stable, client-focused environment. The role offers meaningful involvement in fiduciary income tax (Form 1041) and estate-related filings, along with exposure to high-net-worth estates.

Key Responsibilities

• Support all phases of estate and trust administration, including probate filings and asset coordination
• Play an active role in the preparation and review of fiduciary income tax returns (Form 1041)
• Maintain financial records for use in tax filings and estate accountings
• Assist with estate and inheritance tax filings (federal and state)
• Coordinate with clients, financial institutions, and advisors
• Assist with preparation of estate accountings and related documentation
• Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of filings

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in trusts & estates, estate administration, or tax (CPA firm experience welcomed)
• Hands-on experience with Form 1041 required
• Experience with estate and/or trust tax filings strongly preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working with financial data and documentation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with tax or accounting software (e.g., ProSeries, OneSource) is a plus
