Are you a Mechanical Engineer or Applications Engineer with experience in SolidWorks and custom equipment design? 

Join a collaborative engineering team developing innovative mechanical solutions for industries including automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, and power generation.  This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys design, problem-solving, and working closely with sales to develop custom solutions.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design and develop custom mechanical equipment, tooling, and systems
• Create preliminary designs in SolidWorks to support proposals
• Prepare cost estimates and project proposals (labour + materials)
• Perform engineering calculations (motors, structures, hydraulics, actuators)
• Review customer specifications and technical requirements
• Work closely with sales and engineering teams to develop solutions
• Support proposal development and technical presentations
• Maintain documentation including costing data, estimates, and project history

What You Bring:

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 2+ years of engineering experience (applications, design, or project-based)
• Strong experience using SolidWorks
• Knowledge of mechanical systems (structures, motors, hydraulics, etc.)
• Experience with cost estimating or proposal development (asset)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Experience with custom equipment or automation
• Background in manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial design
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (sales + engineering)
• Presentation or client-facing experience
