Join a well-established automotive supplier in the Simcoe area where you’ll lead a production team, support daily operations, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency on the shop floor.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who leads by example and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead and support a production team during assigned shifts
• Oversee automotive stamping operations and ensure production targets are met
• Review schedules and coordinate workflow to meet delivery deadlines
• Assign work based on skill level and production needs
• Troubleshoot production, equipment, and workflow issues to minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and 5S standards
• Train, coach, and mentor team members on best practices and procedures
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
• Work closely with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues quickly

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience (automotive stamping preferred)
• Previous experience as a Team Lead, Lead Hand, or Supervisor
• Strong understanding of stamping processes, presses, or metal forming
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced automotive or production environment
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
• Ability to work rotating shifts (days/afternoons/nights)
