Express Employment Professionals of Everett is currently recruiting a Maintenance Mechanic for a well-established client company. This is a permanent position with competitive pay for experienced maintenance professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment.

Pay: $28 –$39 per hour
Shift Differential: +$2.00/hour for 2nd & 3rd shift (Days or afternoons avail)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Local client company in Everett area

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations. This role supports productivity, equipment reliability, and overall plant performance while following all safety policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and rebuild production machinery
• Tear down, troubleshoot, reassemble, and adjust mechanical equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
• Install new machinery or relocate existing equipment as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, manuals, and work instructions
• Identify and report faulty equipment, materials, or unsafe conditions
• Use hand tools, power tools, and machine tools safely and correctly
• Train and support less experienced maintenance personnel
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety rules and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education

• High school diploma or GED required

Experience & Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude required
• Electrical aptitude strongly preferred
• Welding experience is a plus
• Ability to operate machine tools
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
