Job Summary

A local restaurant in Umatilla is seeking a Prep Line Cook to assist with food preparation and support kitchen operations. What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare a variety of food items including produce, sauces (hot and cold), and recipe-based prep work
• Portion ingredients and prepare items according to kitchen standards
• Operate pizza ovens using fresh-made dough prepared to order
• Work across multiple cooking stations including fryers, sauté, broiler, and griddle
• Prepare menu items such as pastas, pizzas, burgers, salads, wraps, steaks, sandwiches, and appetizers
• Assist with shift change prep and kitchen organization
• Perform closing cleaning duties to maintain a sanitary kitchen
• Help with dishes as needed to support kitchen operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Flexible availability for both day and evening shifts
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen tasks
