CNC Machinist 

Lafayette, La | $25-28/Hr. 

 

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

 

Duties:
• Set up CNC machines independently; change tools and adjust feeds/speeds
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues
• Perform equipment setup and monitor production
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
• Ensure all parts meet quality standards and specifications

 

Requirements:
• 1–3 years CNC experience (Mazatrol & G-Code preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience with precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods

 

Schedule:
• Day Shift: Monday–Thursday (4x10-hour days)
