Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CNC Setup Machinist / Operator to support the production of high-quality off-road vehicle components. This role is setup- and operation-focused—no CNC programming required. The ideal candidate can independently set up Haas CNC lathes and mills, load programs, set tooling, and dial in first articles while following established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform full CNC setups on Haas CNC lathes and mills
• Load and run existing CNC programs (no programming required)
• Set tools, offsets, and fixtures
• Calibrate, dial in, and verify first articles independently
• Operate machines to produce parts to specification and quality standards
• Work with aluminum and steel materials
• Utilize live tooling and standard 3-axis machining
• Follow work instructions, setup sheets, and safety procedures
• Perform basic troubleshooting and make offset adjustments as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Machines & Equipment

• Haas CNC Lathes: ST-30, ST-35 (with live tooling)
• Haas CNC Mills: VF-2, VF-4
• Standard 3-axis machines

Part & Material Details

• Materials: Aluminum and steel
• Typical part weight: approximately 5 lbs
• Production environment manufacturing off-road vehicle components

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Setup Machinist / Operator
• Hands-on setup experience on both CNC lathes and mills
• Strong understanding of tooling, offsets, and first-article inspection
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during setups
• Comfortable following established programs and procedures
• No CNC programming experience required

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Overtime available as needed

Pay & Benefits

• $23 – $25 per hour, depending on experience
