Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cadmium Plating Specialist to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cadmium plating processes and be familiar with NADCAP requirements, FAA-regulated production parts, and overhaul operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Perform cadmium plating on aerospace components in compliance with NADCAP standards Process FAA production parts and overhaul components to required specifications Monitor plating baths, chemistry, and equipment to ensure quality and consistency Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions Maintain proper documentation and traceability for aerospace compliance Conduct inspections and ensure adherence to quality control procedures Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines

 

Qualifications:

 

Minimum 10 years of cadmium plating experience (aerospace preferred) Strong knowledge of NADCAP and FAA regulations Experience with production parts and MRO (maintenance, repair, and

overhaul) work

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Familiarity with ASTM, AMS, and MIL plating standards is a plus Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality

 

Preferred Skills:

 

Experience in aerospace finishing or metal processing Knowledge of hazardous material handling and waste compliance Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
