Facilities Electrician

Located in Round Rock, TX

Salary: $33.00 - $43.00/hr DOE

Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a leading advanced manufacturing facility in the Cedar Park/Leander area to hire a skilled Facilities Electrician III.

The Facilities Electrician III is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility systems and equipment. This role supports electrical, HVAC, and general facility operations while ensuring safety, functionality, and efficiency across the site.

 

Schedule: 1^st shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00AM-4:00PM

Pay: $33–$43/hour (DOE)

 

 Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on facility systems and equipment
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure safety, efficiency, and functionality
• Complete preventive and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and basic carpentry issues
• Install and maintain electrical systems including lighting, wiring, and control systems
• Respond promptly to urgent repair requests
• Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors
• Maintain tools, equipment, and accurate maintenance records

 

Qualifications

Required:

• 5–10 years of hands-on electrical experience
• Experience installing fixtures, running conduit, and working with low/high voltage systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of NEC and NFPA standards
• Experience inspecting and testing electrical systems (breakers, transformers, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively

 

Preferred:

• Experience operating equipment (forklift, scissor lift, etc.)
• Familiarity with maintenance systems (Jira, SmartSheets)
• Strong organization and safety mindset

 Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions
• Frequent standing, walking, climbing ladders, and use of hand/power tools
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or on call as needed
