Accounts Receivable Specialist
 
Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization in the North Kane County area to hire an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who excels in billing, collections, and customer communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor accounts receivable, invoicing, and collections activities
  • Apply customer payments via ACH, wire, credit card, and check
  • Issue monthly statements and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Communicate with customers regarding account status and payments
  • Review customer credit history and recommend credit terms
  • Approve orders based on credit limits and payment history
  • Maintain accurate collection and reporting records
  • Prepare and file sales tax returns
  • Assist with audits and accounting projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting or Finance preferred)
  • 2+ years of accounts receivable, billing, or collections experience
  • Strong Excel and general Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communication and analytical abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy

Pay & Schedule 

Pay Range: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Work Location: Onsite
