Aerospace Engineering Manager

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Pay: $125-$150K

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing an engineering team in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of AS and ISO standards; NADCAP experience preferred.
• Experience with welding, alloys, brazing, and heat treatment is a required.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and make impactful technical and managerial decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Engineering team, overseeing all processes from development through production to meet business goals.
• Evaluate workload, delegate assignments, and ensure projects align with customer production schedules.
• Establish and track departmental objectives that support overall business unit plans.
• Drive process improvements to enhance product quality, design, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Conduct root cause analysis (e.g., FMEA, 5 Whys, fishbone) and ensure compliance with engineering standards and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Business Development on quoting activities and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Manage team performance, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
