About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to support warehouse and field operations by managing inventory accuracy, vendor ordering, and material flow. This role plays a key part in maintaining optimal inventory levels, supporting customer demand, and working cross-functionally with Operations and warehouse teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders and enter POs in ERP system (Vision or similar)
• Manage inventory KPIs including turns, balances, and replenishment
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure on-time deliveries
• Oversee order receipts, shipping documentation, and chain of custody
• Perform cycle counts and support physical inventories
• Manage warranties, cores, returns, and inventory transfers between branches
• Partner with warehouse leads and material handlers to support daily operations
• Maintain right-sized inventory levels for key parts and SKUs

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse inventory management experience
• Experience with vendor ordering and MIN/MAX restocking
• 1+ year experience using an ERP system (Vision, SAP, Acumatica, MS, etc.)
• Strong Excel and inventory reporting skills
• Knowledge of inventory processes including POs, cycle counts, returns, and metrics
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
