This is a technical role involving the final inspection of the product (Visual, Rockwell, Brinell inspections). This is a great position for someone with a keen eye for details, able to think on their feet, and is mechanically inclined to troubleshoot calibration machines. Position: Lab Technician/Final Inspector
Schedule: 1st shift Monday - Friday 7:45 am - 4:30 pm.
Pay: $19/hr based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Perform various inspections on finished products.
- Inspect material according to customer requirements.
- Perform daily calibration verifications.
- Able to read and interpret order sketches, prints and conversion charts.
- Record accurate data at all times.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of consistent work history in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience in an inspection position is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret documents.
- Ability to perform basic math functions for whole numbers and decimals.
- Ability to work in a dusty, loud environment with excessive heat at times.
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time, and lift up to 60lbs.
