Located in Durham, NC

Salary: $23-$25/hr.

Industrial Maintenance Team Lead 

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday from 6am-2:30pm

Salary: $23-25/hr. 

 

Responsibilities: 

• Troubleshoot, repair, and coordinate maintenance on production machinery, forklifts, trucks, and other equipment.
• Manage preventive maintenance (PM) schedules to extend equipment life.
• Manage maintenance supply inventory.
• Participate in Safety Committee, training, and record-keeping. Stay updated on regulations and implement necessary changes.
• Maintain alarm systems, surveillance cameras, and building key protocols to maintain security and mitigate risks.
• Manage maintenance schedule on trucks, trailers, and forklifts, ensuring DOT compliance and coordinating propane contracts for forklifts.
• Act as the primary contact for trash and recycling services, promoting sustainability through recycling programs.

Skills required: 

• Hands-on experience in automotive, motor diagnostic, and repair, with expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting forklifts, trucks, and industrial machinery.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Education required:

• Associate’s degree in industrial maintenance, industrial systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Steel manufacturing experience is a plus +
