Duties:                       

• Unloading and properly storing incoming product carefully verifying product against packing slips; noting any damage, shortages, shipping errors or any other discrepancies according to established procedure

 

• Accurately pulling and loading customer orders into customer vehicles in turn requiring customer interaction and excellent customer service skills

 

• Accurately pulling and loading delivery truck and intercompany transfer orders

 

• Participating in cycle counts and physical inventories as scheduled

 

• Observing and promoting established safety procedures

 

• Other duties as needed, requested or assigned

 

Required Skills:        

• Ability to operate forklift and obtain OSHA required forklift certification

 

• Must be literate and able to perform basic math functions

 

• Must have effective communication skills for interacting with customers as well as fellow employees
