Now Hiring: CNC Lathe/Milling Machinist

Pay Rate: $26.00 – $32.00 per hour (based on experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe/Milling Machinist to operate, maintain, and produce high-quality parts using CNC equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong blueprint reading skills, attention to detail, and experience working in a precision manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain CNC lathe and milling machines
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate production
Perform precise measurements and ensure parts meet specifications
Select appropriate tooling, machines, and settings for each job
Plan and execute the proper sequence of machining operations
Monitor production processes and adjust feeds, speeds, and settings as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and compliance with specifications

Qualifications

Experience operating CNC lathe and/or milling machines
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Basic knowledge of CNC programming is preferred
Familiarity with Mazak Mazatrol controls is highly desirable
Fabrication experience is a plus
Welding experience or certifications are a plus
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

Experience with CNC machine programming
Knowledge of machining best practices and tooling
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
