SUMMER TRAVEL JOB – FOOD VENDOR ASSISTANT (May–August)

Pay: $20/hr

Location: Traveling through WY, UT, and Northern CO

Commitment: Full 4‑month season (Mid‑May through end of August)

 

A long‑time traveling food vendor is looking for one reliable, disciplined person to join him on the road for the summer season. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work hard, travel, and make solid money in a short period of time.

 

About the Job

Home base is Laramie, WY. You will travel to carnivals, fairs, and special events each week. Most trips run Thursday–Monday, with some starting Wednesday, returning back to Laramie between events.  Days are long — 8 to 14 hours — and the pace varies from slow stretches to intense rushes of customers. Room and board is provided.

 

You’ll be working under a food tent setup, so expect physical labor, long hours on your feet, and a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities

·         Load and pack supplies before each event

·         Unload and set up tents, tables, and equipment

·         Assist with food prep, customer service, and booth operations

·         Break down and repack equipment after events

·         Maintain personal readiness (laundry, gear, etc.) between trips

·         Follow established systems and instructions

 

Who This Job Is For

The vendor is upfront: he’s tough but fair. He expects effort, honesty, and accountability. If you can handle that, he’ll teach you everything you need to know.
