Maintenance Technician

Pay: Starting at $26.85 (plus shift differential, based on experience)

Job Type: Full-time/Direct Hire | On-site - Jeffersonville, IN

Shift : 2nd Shift (5pm start)

 Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment to support efficient production operations. This role also involves fabricating metal parts and tools while ensuring all work meets ATTC’s safety and quality standards.

 Key Responsibilities:

· Dismantle defective machines and install new or repaired parts.

· Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machine parts.

· Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical apparatus and electronic components.

· Maintain and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and piping systems.

· Operate machine tools such as lathes, grinders, drills, and milling machines.

· Perform welding and metal fabrication as needed.

· Recommend and implement process improvements through Kaizen activities.

 Qualifications:

Required:

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Proven troubleshooting and repair experience.

· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred:

· Associate’s degree, trade school certificate, or equivalent experience preferred.

· Experience with robotics and CNC machines.

· Knowledge of industrial electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC systems.

· Prior experience in automotive manufacturing preferred.

 Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to perform hands-on mechanical and electrical work.

· Ability to stand for prolonged periods.

· Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
