What You Will Be Doing:

As a Sanitation Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the facility meets strict cleanliness and food safety standards.

• Sweeping, mopping, and maintaining production floors
• Cleaning and sanitizing food production areas
• Cleaning bathrooms, lunchrooms, and common spaces
• Emptying garbage and recycling bins
• Cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces
• Following daily and weekly sanitation schedules
• Safely handling cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment
• Maintaining cleanliness in both hot and cold work environments
• Supporting compliance with food safety and workplace health & safety standards

Shift Requirements:

• Must be available for afternoon and night shifts
• Rotating shifts may be required
• Must be flexible with scheduling

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Comfortable working at heights using ladders and lifts
• Ability to work in hot and cold temperature conditions
• Valid WHMIS certification required
• Previous experience in sanitation, industrial cleaning, janitorial, warehouse, or food manufacturing is considered an asset
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
